Tom Maze seminar sessions continue Friday

The Tom Maze Transportation seminars will continue Friday with a presentation from Eric Fitzsimmons, Assistant Professor of Civil Engineering at Kansas State University.


Fitzsimmons' presentation is entitled “Introduction to Railroad Engineering, Kansas Short Line KDOT Study, and Lessons Learned Working with the Rail Industry as a Professor.” He will present from 11 a.m. to noon on Friday, Feb. 23, broadcast from the University of Missouri-Columbia.

The Tom Maze Transportation Seminar series is named for the founder of the Midwest Transportation Center (MTC) and has been held weekly during the spring semester since 2002. It features nationally and internationally recognized speakers discussing various aspects of transportation.
