SUDAS and Iowa Public Works Service Bureau Update – Paul Wiegand, P.E., SUDAS Director. Paul will provide an update on current SUDAS modifications and information about the new Public Works Service Bureau.
Local Systems Orientation – Resources and Overview – Nicole Moore, P.E., Director, Local Systems Bureau Iowa DOT. Local Systems can play a helpful role in the Public Works and Consulting Industry.

Fly Ash Update – Bill Sutton and Doug Rhodes, Boral Resources. This discussion will focus on the benefits of fly ash in concrete pavement as well as the latest reports on fly ash supply and future use.

Paving for Progress Update – Doug Wilson, P.E., Paving for Progress Program Manager, City of Cedar Rapids. Doug will provide an update for the program including concrete pavement applications.
Bowling Street Pavement Rehabilitation and Lane Conversion – Tim Mroch, P.E., CIP Program Manager, City of Cedar Rapids, Patrick Schwickerath, P.E., Snyder & Associates, Inc., Mark Rhinehart, Iowa Civil Contracting. This unique project was part of the Paving for Progress program. Learn from the owner, designer, and contractor, about the project success incorporating several concrete pavement preservation techniques.
