Description

The workshop will cover the USGS StreamStats program for estimating design discharges for sizing bridges and culverts.  We will also go over the use of the Iowa DOT AEPD spreadsheet for calculating and comparing peak discharges using other methodologies.  In addition, we will review the Iowa DOT Culvert program and Bridge Backwater program with example problems.

This workshop will be beneficial for anyone working with the Iowa DOT Annual Exceedence-Probability Discharges (AEPD) Spreadsheet, the Iowa DOT Bridge Backwater Program, the Iowa DOT Culvert Program or the USGS Streamstats (Version 4) software

Attendance Limits and Deadline

This workshop is computer based and the number of seats available for this event is limited. In order to serve as many agencies as possible, registration is limited to 2 participants per agency.  The number of remaining spaces can be found on the registration page.  Registration is on a first-come/first-served basis and will close when the spaces indicated on the registration page are filled.  Registration is required no later than 7 days before the workshop date.
