About the Event
Please join us for a Friends of Aurora event on Wednesday, October 19, 2022. You will be involved in the full day of activities.
Vendors will participate in the entire day with representatives from the Aurora Board, FHWA, and other organizations, the concept being that members want to exchange ideas and be knowledgeable about the issues, products, companies, and people out in the market. We also want to tap into your ideas on relevant research needs and how Aurora can focus/prioritize our project efforts.
In terms of a presentation, we will ask that you introduce yourself and your company and give a sense of what you provide. These are typically introductory without going into detailed product pitches, etc. We will have tables for you to have individual discussions regarding your products and services at the breaks and lunch and before the reception.
The cost per attendee is $175, which covers food for one person and the vendor booth (lunch, dinner, and snacks during the breaks). We have tried to keep this as low as possible to encourage more attendees at this unique opportunity.
Information for Vendors
Vendors will be at the hotel all day on Wednesday, October 19, 2022.
Vendors will receive the following:
- 6 ft skirted table and 2 chairs
- Electricity for the booth
- Complimentary WiFi
Vendors may start setting up any time after 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 and will have until 11:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 19 to tear down the booth.
Vendors may ship supplies to the hotel at the address listed above. The shipping label must clearly list AURORA BOARD MEETING. Shipments must arrive no more than 72 hours before the event. The hotel does not have a loading dock, so if pallets are shipped they must be delivered on a truck with a lift gate and pallet jack. After the event, shipments must be shipped back within 48 hours.
