Description
The Iowa Department of Transportation, the Federal Highway Administration, and the Institute for Transportation at Iowa State University co-host the biennial Mid-Continent Transportation Research Symposium. This event usually attracts approximately 350 transportation researchers and professionals from several different states and a few other countries as well. This symposium provides an opportunity for participants to network with their peers, learn about advancements and applications in their respective fields, and anticipate future research directions.
Keynote Speaker
Bo Wang is a mobility analytics manager working at Global Data Insights & Analytics (GDIA) organization at Ford Motor Company. He is leading a team of data scientists and developers building AI-driven solutions and products from inception to production. He has led several mobility analytics projects at Ford, including SPIN electric scooter, micro-transit operation, connected vehicle, and smart city analytics. Wang received his B.S., M.S., and PhD in transportation engineering from Iowa State University.
