Description

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) relatively recently introduced a Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse that is a secure online database that provides information about commercial driver’s license (CDL) and commercial learner’s permit (CLP) holders’ drug and alcohol program violations. Among other things, the database contains records of violations of drug and alcohol prohibitions, including test results and test refusals. This webinar will discuss the responsibilities of those that need to enter data into the database in addition to how data may be accessed. A February 7, 2022 deadline that sets baseline training requirements for entry-level drivers is also now in place and it will be discussed.
