This webinar will introduce participants into how they can improve safety on their roadway through maintenance of drainage features and vegetation control. Participants will learn to identify locations where maintenance activities relating to drainage features and vegetation control can help improve safety. We will discuss typical problems and corrective measures needed to improve safety.
Nicole Oneyear is a research engineer at the Institute for Transportation who focuses on rural road safety research including roadway departures, work zones and rural intersections. She also works with the National Center for Rural Road Safety developing safety related trainings for state and local agencies.
