16 transportation grad students to present posters at ISU Research Showcase and Poster Competition, Nov. 30
Sixteen Institute for Transportation (InTrans) students will highlight their research at the Department of Civil, Construction, and Environmental Engineering Graduate Student Research Showcase and Poster Competition. The sixth annual event at Iowa State University is Wednesday, November 30, 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Howe Hall atrium.
Nearly 70 abstracts were accepted from graduate students in five engineering categories: transportation, construction, environmental, geotechnical and geotechnical materials, and structural. The CCEE Graduate Student Council will award two cash prizes in each category, said Georges Bou-Saab, student council chair and PhD student in transportation engineering.
A new exhibition showcase category will allow undergraduate students to present their research and experience a professional conference.
