InTrans student earns MOVITE transportation scholarship

Raha Hamzeie, a PhD student at Iowa State University’s Institute for Transportation (InTrans), received the 2016 Jan Kibbe Student Scholarship from MOVITE, the Missouri Valley section of the Institute for Transportation Engineers. The scholarship goes to a student pursuing course work in traffic or transportation engineering.

She also finished in third place in MOVITE’s Thomas J. Seburn Student Paper Award. Her paper was titled “Assessing the Safety Performance of High-Speed Two-Lane Highways with Differential Speed Limits for Trucks and Buses.”
