Analytical modeling of longitudinal glued laminated timber deck bridges
The behavior of timber bridges, more specifically, the behavior of longitudinal glued laminated timber deck bridges under static loads was investigated and analyzed in this report. The objective of this study was to develop a model capable of simulating static behavior of longitudinal glued laminated timber deck bridges. This objective was attained by analyzing three full size bridges. Another objective of this project was to develop a preprocessor that would allow modeling these type of bridges by defining few variables from which the bridge model is automatically generated.
