Design Provisions for Portable Longitudinal Glued-Laminated Timber Deck Bridges for use in Forest Operations
Design provisions for bridges intended for use in portable, temporary, low-volume applications such as those encountered in forestry operations were evaluated in this research. These design provisions were then applied to the design of portable glued-laminated timber deck bridges for use in forestry operations. Design loads, duration of loading, and bridge response to dynamic loading were the focus of the research.
