LRFD Calibration for Wood Bridges

The report documents the development of Load and Resistance Factor Design (LRFD) Code for wood highway bridges. The first two edition of the AAHTO LRFD code were based on the probability-based calibration which covered steel and concrete girder bridges, but not wood structures. The present study fills the gap by providing the results for wood bridges. The report deals with the following structural types: wood stringers, nail-laminated decks, glu-laminated decks, stress-laminated decks and glu-lam girders.
