Portable Crossings for Forest Roads and Skid Trails

This video presents results of comprehensive field trials conducted on crossing systems and materials for vehicles and equipment over sensitive sites and soils with low bearing capacity on forest roads and skid trails. The crossings are portable, economical, reusable, made of readily available materials, and aid short-term access needs for forest resource management.
