Research and Testing Program on Stress Laminated Timber Bridge Decks
The data and analysis presented in the following report is a summary overview of the data obtained through testing at the University of Technology, Sydney as a part of the research and development testing program for stress laminated timber bridge decks. The core of this testing was undertaken in the period between June 1991 and December 1992. It can be concluded that the technology for stress laminated plate decks has been validated and successfully established in Australia for Australian hardwoods and locally grown radiata pine.
