This report provides details of the MOE and MOR values for small clear specimens cut from full size road bridge girders, which had been tested to destruction in static bending at the Queensland University of Technology. The preparation of specimens and strength testing was undertaken by the Queensland Forest Service at their timber research facility in Brisbane. The test specimens were further examined for fungal infestation. Although some limited fungal activity was detected from microscopic examination and laboratory isolations, this level of activity was not sufficient to cause any reduction in strength.
