Stress Cracking Potential of HDPE Geogrids
This report presents the development of a testing protocol to measure the potential for stress cracking of high density polyethelene (HDPE) geogrids used for soil reinforcement. The developed data demonstrate that local stress cracking in the unoriented transverse node of HDPE geogrids can occur as a result of construction-induced damage.
