About the research
Iowa has completed an extensive program of access management research that has gotten considerable national attention. This project utilized already-prepared training materials in three one-day workshops on access management designed to get Iowa DOT staff and other key players (land use and regional transportation planners) up to speed on access management principles and benefits.
