About the research
CTRE has developed a GIS-based Incident Location Tool (ILT) for use with Traffic and Criminal Software (TraCS), an electronic data collection system sponsored by Iowa DOT. Through contact with FSU, the FDOT is implementing TraCS and requires that ILT be made operational using the data formats and procedures of FDOT. CTRE proposes to implement the ILT component of TraCS for DFDO for five counties as part of a pilot study.
