Adapting to Changes in Concrete Materials and Mixtures
Held by: Dan King, P.E., National Concrete Pavement Technology Center (CP Tech Center)
The cement and concrete industries in Iowa and around the country have seen some significant changes in the last few years. Some of these changes include the widespread adoption of portland limestone cement, new mixture specifications prioritizing durability, and increasing prioritization of sustainability by both the public and private sector. Join the CP Tech Center’s Spring Lunch and Learn series to catch up on how the industry is adapting to these changes so far, what we’ve learned in the process, and for a preview of where things are going next.
