NEW SERIES: Iowa Safety Informational Circuit

Join us at this NEW roadway and worker safety series.  Hear useful information but also participate directly in this DIFFERENT kind of interactive and application-oriented event!  Bring your safety-related issues to discuss at various one-on-one/small group stations throughout the day.

If you attend you will:

  • Hear about programs that you can use to improve and fund safety
  • Collect safety program resources at the information table
  • Welcome our new GTSB Safety Partner – Brandi Thompson
  • Discuss road situations and low cost safety improvements
  • Learn about how to develop worker safety policies and plan content
  • Apply some stress management basics
  • Participate and network in one-on-one or small group safety stations addressing your questions.  Stations focus points are expected to include:
    • Your safety issue(s) and potential responses
    • Your crash map and its creation
    • Worker safety policy/plan implementation
    • LTAP loan equipment demonstrations
    • Help with Occupant Restraint Use
    • Others
  • Walk away with information that you can apply to improve roadway and worker safety
