NEW SERIES: Iowa Safety Informational Circuit
Join us at this NEW roadway and worker safety series. Hear useful information but also participate directly in this DIFFERENT kind of interactive and application-oriented event! Bring your safety-related issues to discuss at various one-on-one/small group stations throughout the day.
If you attend you will:
- Hear about programs that you can use to improve and fund safety
- Collect safety program resources at the information table
- Welcome our new GTSB Safety Partner – Brandi Thompson
- Discuss road situations and low cost safety improvements
- Learn about how to develop worker safety policies and plan content
- Apply some stress management basics
- Participate and network in one-on-one or small group safety stations addressing your questions. Stations focus points are expected to include:
- Your safety issue(s) and potential responses
- Your crash map and its creation
- Worker safety policy/plan implementation
- LTAP loan equipment demonstrations
- Help with Occupant Restraint Use
- Others
- Walk away with information that you can apply to improve roadway and worker safety
