January 27 Tom Maze seminar to feature Peng Wei, ISU aerospace engineering assistant professor

The Tom Maze Transportation Seminar this week will feature Peng Wei, an assistant professor in the Department of Aerospace Engineering at Iowa State University with a courtesy appointment in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department. He is also an affiliated faculty member with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Center of Excellence for General Aviation – PEGASAS and the Human Computer Interaction Graduate Program at ISU’s Virtual Reality Applications Center. He is also currently leading the Intelligent Aerospace Systems Lab (IASL).

Wei’s presentation is entitled “Low-Altitude UAS Traffic Coordination with Dynamic Geofencing.” He will be presenting live between 11:00 a.m. and noon from Iowa State University’s Institute for Transportation.

The Tom Maze Transportation Seminar series is presented weekly during the spring semester and features nationally and internationally-recognized speakers discussing various aspects of transportation.
