The Northern Border Regional Commission (NBRC) is excited to unveil a new Grant Management System (GMS) that will make the application process smoother and more organized for Catalyst, Forest Economy Program (FEP) and Timber for Transit (T4T) applicants. After careful consideration, the launch date for the new GMS has been rescheduled for Monday, March 11 (previously March 4) to provide the best experience for both staff and applicants. The rescheduled system deployment date will push back pre-application deadlines by one week.
An updated pre-application schedule for all NBRC programs is as follows:
- March 11: GMS open for Spring Round pre-application submissions.
- March 22: Spring Round pre-applications for all programs due by 5:00 p.m. EST.
- April 5: Responses to all Spring Round applicants will be sent no later than this date.
The original deadline for all Spring program applications remains May 3, 2024.
Further pre-application guidance will be made available through the NBRC website and its program materials. Training and guidance specific to the GMS process will be made available in advance of the March 11 launch, as well as dedicated GMS-related Office Hours during the pre-application window of March 11-22.
