Recent Retirements

Last year four long-time employees said goodbye to InTrans and hello to retirement, whether for some well-deserved R&R or new professional adventures or both.

Diane Love, accounting clerk, joined InTrans in 1992 (almost 30 years total at ISU)

Georgia Parham, secretary and assistant to the LTAP director, came to InTrans in 1996 (22 years total at ISU)

Duane Smith, director of Iowa’s Local Technical Assistance Program, came to InTrans in 1994 from the Iowa DOT

Larry Stevens, director of Iowa’s Statewide Urban Design and Specifications (SUDAS) program, joined InTrans in 2004 after several years as city engineer or public works director for various Iowa cities

We appreciate the contributions these professionals have made to InTrans’s accomplishments over the years and wish them well in their new adventures!
