About Tim

Mr. Tim Morris manages the finances and business-related tasks for the Institute for Transportation and all its affiliated centers. Mr. Morris provides guidance and recommendations to the InTrans director about the financial and business implications of strategic decisions. He reviews and approves all financial transactions resulting from InTrans activities and trains and guides staff in using Iowa State University’s financial systems and related management tools.

Mr. Morris also works with principal investigators for externally funded research projects, resolves budgetary matters, provides financial support, interacts with research sponsors, and works with ISU’s on-campus business offices. He provides overall administrative guidance, coordination, and oversight regarding project budgets and account management for sponsored programs.
